Taking on the role of Associate with our Multinationals team in Melbourne, you will provide support to two relationship managers covering subsidiaries of high profile inbound customers across the full spectrum of corporate banking products. The Multinationals strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers.

This role is ideal for someone who has existing experience in corporate coverage, who is keen to further develop their banking skills and expand their career in a truly global organisation. This role presents a fantastic hands-on opportunity for the right individual be exposed to the full range of institutional banking products and services and develop their client relationships management skills, attending face to face meetings.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Relationship Managers to develop and grow long term relationships with key clients;
- Establishing strong relationships with the client’s management support team and providing a single point of contact for queries across the portfolio;
- Liaising with members of the client service team, ensuring a co-ordinated approach to enhancing the client relationship;
- Assisting the Credit Analysis Unit to undertake new money requests and annual reviews whilst keeping Credit / Risk appraised of developments as they pertain to our clients and industry;
- Attending to a variety of operational and administration tasks across a portfolio of clients from a variety of industries;
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that
