**About the role**

Training Services NSW (TSNSW) leads and manages the implementation of funded vocational education and training programs and services across the NSW training market including contracting and funding providers, quality assurance, leading reforms and administering apprenticeships and traineeships and Aboriginal programs.

information and advice on the NSW Government Smart and Skilled Program. Customer service officers support day-to-day business operations under supervision, providing excellent customer service, checking training activity data meets the contractual requirements, and processing provider payments.

You will be involved in high quality customer service work assisting Smart and Skilled providers and students with their enquiries, data clarification and analysis related tasks, using bespoke IT systems and processing payments.

**About you**

As a customer service officer you will be the first point of contact for TSNSW customers.

We’re looking for positive, customer and solution focused, motivated people to join our team
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to learn and use IT/CRM systems, work with data and process payments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently, effectively and work towards tight deadlines to deliver results
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to collaborate well with others

**Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
- Knowledge of the Vocational Education Training sector (VET), customer service experience is highly desirable.
