**About the Role**:
Due to continuing growth, our client is seeking a Storeperson/ Warehouse Assistant to receive, store, pick, pack and prepare for the delivery of their customer's products.

This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced dispatch and warehouse person to work with a growing Australian Importer & Distributor of electrical enclosures, cables and accessories to the electrical engineering industry.

**Duties**:

- Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Picking and packing orders
- Unloading deliveries, including containers
- Using mobile plant equipment for heavy lifting
- Stocktaking and regular audit checks
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Assist in the success of the warehouse function by participating in general warehouse activities including maintenance, administration & completing the allocation of work issued by the Branch Manager,
- Assisting the other branch team members in their roles, when required

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is required.
- Customer-centric mentality and ability to tack multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time.
- Proactive thinking, strong communication and organisation skills
- A “can-do” attitude, highly motivated, excellent listening and communication skills, demonstrate a fantastic attitude to safety requirements.
- Be physically fit, self-motivated, reliable and have a great work ethic;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift Licence preferred (training can be undertaken)
- Must have Australian working rights for Permanent Role.
