Are you a skilled leader with a passion for regulation policy? We're looking for a Principal Policy Officer to guide important initiatives within this high profile portfolio.

We are seeking a Principal Policy Officer to provide expert advice to our Minister and senior leadership. In this role, you will:

- Prepare key documents, including cabinet submissions and regulatory reforms.
- Manage and oversee program initiatives, ensuring milestones are met while addressing risks and issues.
- Lead stakeholder consultations and negotiations to support our policy agenda.
- Review and advise on legislation and regulatory options.
- Mentor and guide a small team to deliver impactful projects.
- Ability to formulate policy and legislative options.
- Experience in developing Cabinet documents and project briefs aligned with business plans.
- Proven track record in managing complex policy and legislative reform programs.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
