**Your new role**:
**This opportunity will see you**:
- Assist with the delivery of training to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring an acceptable standard of knowledge and awareness is present across the Maritime Australia business.
- Provide direction, guidance and mentorship to export control officers within the Operational team and support their development.
- Assist with risk and opportunity management using formal business methodologies and establish risk mitigation plans and reviews for the Maritime Australia business.
- Provide specialist expertise in the audit and assurance process ensuring that the compliance controls are being adhered to across the business.
- Identify areas for improvement within the Export Control function and wider business and support reviews of ways of working across the Operational team.
About you
**As an ideal applicant for this role, you'll have**:
- Australian Citizenship, eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance to a minimum of NV1.
- Ability to direct, guide and mentor junior members of the Operational team.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Degree or significant experience in relevant discipline.
Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
