GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Radiation Unit Leader to join our team of experts in our Hollywood Oncology Centre, located in Nedlands, WA.

Hollywood is one of our newest, state-of-the-art sites, offering radiation oncology. Join our close-knit multidisciplinary team in a permanent full-time position, working 72 hours/fortnight.

More specifically, you will:

- Responsible for leading a team of Radiation Therapists on site.
- Undertaking associated duties ensuring the correct and safe administration of radiation therapy procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong team and patient focus, which includes passion for improving both patient experience, and individual and team performance.
- Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a timely manner.
- Lead the support of staff in education, research and development opportunities.
- Contribute to the implementation of efficient & effective Centre workflow processes and evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives as identified.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.
- Actively support and champion GenesisCare initiatives to improve culture, quality, efficiency and effectiveness, taking on a leadership role within projects where required.

- Hold a current registration with AHPRA.
- Have knowledge and experience with Exactrac Dynamic positioning and monitoring workflows.
- Show demonstrated current technical competence and leadership in all areas of radiation therapy.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Have a detailed understanding of quality improvement processes and change management.
- Demonstrate a strong focus on the patient experience.
