They now have an opportunity for an experienced Import Coordinator to join their team based in Mascot (close to public transport)

**The Role**

Reporting to the Import Manager and is primarily responsible for managing all cost effective and timely shipping of Cargo.
- Handling import operations
- Manage customer service queries
- Provide clients with regular updates and order status
- FCL/LCL/FAK documentation knowledge
- Liaising with local clients (Shipping lines, coleaders and origin agents)
- Approve invoices and making payments to providers
- Arranging interstate transport
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in a similar role in Freight Forwarding Industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise urgent matters
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional ability to prioritise with time management skills
- Strong Microsoft Suite experience
