- _Intranet publishing, reviewing content submitted by business lines and ensuring it meets our intranet standards_
- _Assisting and/or delivering training, support, and advice to content authors across the department_
- _Providing writing for web and content design advice_
**Who we are**
The Enterprise Systems Section sits within the Digital Products Delivery & Support Branch. Enterprise Systems has three main functions it provides for the department. An external web function, an intranet, and an enterprise/cloud systems function. This role is focused on supporting the intranet function. The majority of work is supporting the intranet but there may be opportunities to get involved with other SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams related activities across the section.
**The Job**
As a member of the Enterprise Systems Section, you will be responsible for a number of areas related to the administration and management of the intranet.
- Approving, reviewing and publishing content submitted by business lines ensuring it meets “writing for web” and intranet style guidelines.
- Assisting and/or delivering training on preparing and publishing intranet content.
- Providing writing for web and content design advice
- Assisting with intranet content inventories and information architecture work to ensure site content is up to date, relevant, and content is easy to find.
- Responding to intranet feedback.
- Resolving incidents relating to file uploads, permissions, and other publishing issues.
- Triage and reporting on tasks and incidents.
- Providing support to users of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams. Including site administration tasks.
- Embedding videos and other digital media into webpages.
- Other tasks as directed.
**What we are looking for**
**Knowledge and experience**
- Demonstrated experience creating and editing web pages.
- Experience supporting others to publish content in a content management system.
**Skills and capabilities**
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Writing for web and content design experience.
- The ability to engage with stakeholders and support them to publish web content.
- The ability to problem solve and improve systems and processes.
**Desirable**
- Experience with Power Automate, Photoshop, Web analytics, and Microsoft Teams Administration.
**Eligibility and other requirements**
**Citizenship** - To be eligible for employment with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water you must be an Australian citizen.
**Security Clearance**:
- This position requires a Baseline Vetting security clearance. You will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
