**What is the Role?**
As part of a team of committed and professional staff, you will provide advice, administration and compliance support to the Director of People & Finance (P&C) and P&C Specialist in the delivery of People and Culture responsibilities, to ensure that all employees are supported in their work.
This is a part time role (4 days a week).
**About the role**:

**As a P&C Advisor, your duties will include (but not limited to) the following**:
- Recruitment, selection and onboarding support.
- Providing Advisory support to employees and management.
- Contributing to employee relations and engagement activities.
- Contributing to all aspects of the employee lifecycle processes.
- Interpret industrial instruments and provide advice to employees and management.
- Preparing reports, analysing data and providing insights to management.
- Work closely with the P&C Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations of the P&C team.
**Who will the successful applicant be?**
- 2-5 years’ experience in a role delivering the full operations of end-to-end employee life cycle, in a medium size business (school or other).
- Certificate or tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent field.
- Experience in handling level 2 workplace queries, complaints and grievances.
- Strong knowledge of HR legislation and capability in interpreting industrial instruments.
- Experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity, honesty, empathy and collaboration in delivering positive outcomes for the School.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with an unwavering commitment to ethical conduct, discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
**Desirable attributes**
- Human Resources experience in a Faith-based school or other educational environment.
- Experience in implementing an HRIS system.
- Experience in project management, policy development and process improvement.
- Experience in WGEA reporting.
- Lives an authentically Christian life, with integrity, honesty and empathy.
