**About the role**
- We are looking for an IR / HR Manager to provide high quality and timely Employee and Industrial Relations Advice to the managers and the project team. This is a site based role in The Hunter Valley region of NSW.

**Some key responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Manage IR issues on site in line with workplace agreement/modern Awards/Legislation and company policies
- Union Liaison for Right of Entry and other matters
- Provide advice on conditions of employment
- Develop and implement IR solutions that achieve Project objectives
- Coordinate IR across the Project to ensure consistency is maintained in the handling of all IR issues
- Monitor Project specific Project Awards / Agreements / EBA in accordance to policy
- Provide advice in relation to the current industry IR environment and union expectations during the tender process
- Liaise with employer associations to remain informed about developments in the industry and to contribute the Projects perspective on industry-wide matters under consideration by the employer associations
- Develop strong working relationships key internal and external stakeholders with site-based management, union representatives, employees and client IR personnel, and capacity to influence decisions relating to IR/ER matters
- Lead and support the mobilisation process and ensure IR deliverables are met

**About you**
- You will have extensive HR & IR experience, preferably working on large construction infrastructure projects (site experience highly regarded)
- Experience to provide written and verbal advice on a day-to-day basis and offer sound, practical and accurate advice and solutions for the project across all IR/ER aspects such as enterprise bargaining and dispute management
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating solutions for industrial relations issues
- Experience with Fair Work Australia e.g., conciliations.
- Demonstrated IR experience in unionised industry e.g., right of entry to site and day to day questions or difficulties
- Project site-based P&C experience highly regarded
