Aged Care Volunteers Needed in Gold Coast

Are you looking for an opportunity to give back to your local community? Would you like to make a difference to older adults who are experiencing loneliness or social isolation?

Join All Aged Care’s Volunteer Visitors team and provide as little as one hour per fortnight of your time visiting an older adult living at home or in an aged care facility.

Our volunteers and clients can enjoy a coffee and chat, or perhaps an activity such as board game and puzzles with their new friends, and through ongoing visits create a wonderful new friendship for someone in need.
- Visits are scheduled around your availability.
- All background checks are free including National Police Check.
- Training and induction are provided.
- Bilingual volunteers are highly desirable.

Currently we are looking for volunteers across South Brisbane, North Brisbane and Caboolture regions.

Availability to visit your new friend once a fortnight for a minimum of 6 months.

Volunteer requirements are
- To be aged over 18 years
- National Criminal history Check(Performed and Paid by us)
- A 2023 flu vaccination(Required to visit Nursing homes)
- Availability to visit your new friend once a fortnight for the next six months.

This volunteer role is not suitable for those looking to getting exposure within the aged care sector in regards to job placements

**Job Type**: Volunteer

**Salary**: From $20.00 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call
