**FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE**:
- AP Deployment is a onePPG team of Regional Functional Leads as part of the global Connect PPG program specializing in process governance and the alignment of processes to the global template
- Project role acts as the functional expert in assessing and analyzing the business requirements
- This role could have responsibility across multiple sites and regionally and expected to take both a strategic and tactical view of business processes, S4 Hana (S4H) template management and governance
- The role works closely with AP Process Excellence team, SAP COE and AP and global teams to address business process requirements, technical matters to ensure adherence to S4H template, efficient and robust business processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Functional understanding and experience of SAP Recipes and Bills of Materials
- Identify business processes best suited to meet customer and operational requirements in highly complex manufacturing environments
- Lead process reviews including mapping, impact and gap assessments to S4H template
- Lead testing and training.
- Develop a complete understanding of Global Process Design configurations in your sub-stream area.
- Work with business resources across region to identify changes between current process and Global Process Design
- Identify and share with Global Process Excellence team any opportunities in which Global Process Design may need to be enhanced to support local or specific business unit requirements.
- Work with business resources to ensure mitigation plans exist where required when Global Process Design differs from current practice
- Develop a complete understanding of Global Process Design configurations in your sub-stream area.
- Work with business resources across region to identify changes between current process and Global
Process Design
- Support deployment activities with on-site support of launch.
- Assist in data cleansing, data review, and dual maintenance activities as needed for data objects like recipes, boms, production versions materials, production master data etc.
- Train Super Users to serve as trainers to rest of user population.
- Actively participate in testing cycles
**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Superior relationship building experiences with effective negotiation skills working cross functionally with cross silo leadership approach
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Perform role in accordance with PPG corporate values.
- Achieve goals according to annual / quarterly department plans
- Ad hoc duties
- Ensure that training documentation is adequately detailed so Super Users have accurate information for local deployment training activities.
- Build test plans and schedules
**REQUIRES: (**Functional/Technical**Skills & Knowledge)**
- Must have English at minimum, B-lingual Chinese/Korean/Malay preferable
- Mandatory SAP experience (preferrable SAP S4 Hana) as a superuser and/or implementation
- Multinational and cross functional experience
- Relevant formal qualifications
- Superior communication skills - written and verbal
- Methodical, analytical and an ability to challenge current process
- Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of Recipes and BOMs
