The Role

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, this is a global HR position supporting the APAC, NAM and EMEA regions. You will be a vital partner to the business and a senior member of the People & Culture team. You will be responsible for both strategic HR initiatives and delivering on the day to day operational HR activities, and driving innovation and collaboration across Megaport.

In this role you’ll partner with our leaders to develop and build the capability of our employees, you’ll be a champion of the Megaport culture, and support the growth of the business as we continue to reach new heights. In this critical position you will be a leader, coach, and confidant to your stakeholders, you’ll challenge the status quo and put our people at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Be Doing- Coaching our Leaders on employee engagement and leading their teams, making a tangible impact on our culture, business performance and continuous improvement.- Partnering with the business leaders through the cyclical HR activities including; remuneration reviews, talent reviews, performance reviews, objective setting and other internal processes that support our people.- Provide advice and guidance to managers to ensure that employees are performance managed and guided through any change process.- Provide advice and guidance to managers on any disciplinary matters, including how and when termination may be applicable.- Supporting managers on day to day activities associated with leading their teams.- Working alongside our HRIS team to help embed our new HRIS, Workday and supporting the culture change of the system implementation.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the People & Culture function, HR systems, policies and procedures.- Maintain in-depth knowledge of local legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring overall compliance with laws and regulations, working closely with the Legal team where required.- Lead and assist on ad-hoc P&C related projects, including Employee Recognition project, Employee Engagement Survey etc.

What We Are Looking For- Significant experience as a HR generalist in a commercial environment.- Ability to build and leverage key relationships across all levels of the organisation.- International HR experience supporting managers and employees in different countries and timezones.- Generalist HR background with broad knowledge of the HR life cycle and HR operational activities.- Employee relations experience and knowledge of employment legislation.- Experience of managing multiple priorities and an ability to work with hustle and pace in an innovative organisation.- A global mindset with both comfort and willingness to navigate working in globally dispersed teams, across time zones and cultures.- A team player that demonstrates the ability to work within the HR team and provide support as needed.
