Our client is a global engineering and consulting company currently working on a major infrastructure joint venture project.

You will be the go-to person for anything to do with support of their end user computing devices.

Supporting a user base of approx. 15o staff, you will provide a front-line technology relationship with project staff on various technical issues and needs relating to hardware, software, peripherals, and services.

The role is customer service-oriented, focused on being proactive in anticipating and resolving technology issues and requirements staff may experience within the project office.

This is predominantly a Level 2 support role in fairly typical IT support infrastructure

**This role has the unique opportunity to develop MS O365 cloud skills, supporting a dedicated O365 Tenant - this includes the management of MS Teams, SharePoint and mailboxes for the project team that you will be supporting.**

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Act as client liaison for all IT related asks from project staff. First line of engagement with staff to understand and address their issues and needs as it pertains to desktop issues (Windows, Office365, etc.) and infrastructure (compute, storage, network, cloud services, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, etc.)
- Escalation of specific issues to business support IT teams and Services.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support for the Project O365 Tenant, working closely with the Digital Leaders for the project’s parent company, specialist IT support services and teams.
- Follow and abide by ITIL/Service Management policies and procedures.
- Assist in the Project office technology needs - installs, moves, changes, etc. that involve staff requirements and infrastructure needs.
- Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.
- Assist in all communication and training needs for technology solutions being introduced into the project.

**You will bring the following skills**:

- An Associate Degree or equivalent Technical Certification(s) in Information Technology and prior experience working in a corporate environment
- 2 to 3 years’ experience providing desktop support services in a Microsoft environment (i.e. Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, Outlook, Skype for Business, OneDrive, Anti-virus, Remote Access, etc.)
- Familiarity to technical software solutions from Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble, would be a plus
- Familiarity with IOS and Android mobile devices and Mobile Device Management tools
- Experience using a Ticketing - ServiceNow
- High energy, motivated, open-minded and willing to embrace innovation and new technology

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicating to all levels within an organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with representatives from various organizational offices and levels.

This will be an initial 12 to 18 months contract that will give you the opportunity to upskill in O365.
