Site Supervisor - Brisbane
Meka Recruitment are working with a leading commercial construction company and due to their growth and expansion they are looking for a Site supervisor to join their Brisbane team.
As a site supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating 'all elements of the construction site.
About the role
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Understanding and implementation of WH&S and Environmental procedures on all job sites as per legislation, company and client requirements
- Organise, coordinate and manage all sub-contractors and internal trades as required
- Ability to compile scope and price small variations as required
- Manage the selection of specialist trades, internal trades and sub-contractors to complete works
- Maintain working relationships with subcontractors/suppliers/Clients
- Have a working knowledge of Drawings, Specifications and Quality, WH&S and Environmental requirements for all tender related activities
- Ability to read plans & specifications & be able to identify scope of work
- Managing project timelines, including Gantt charts and reports to the client as required
- Manage and track project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claims
- Administer RFI's to Clients, Architects and Consultants
- Assessing and certifying contractor progress payments
- Assist in achieving final sign off and Certification
- Administer construction contracts and ensure all contract conditions are met
- Coordinating with the teams as appropriate to ensure the best possible outcome
- Undertake procurement, preparing scopes of work, negotiating and letting contracts
- Proven construction site supervisor working experience
- Experience in managing residential, commercial and renovation/refurbishment projects
- Detail focused with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Estimating experience and Carpentry Trade background is highly regarded
- Experience with technology/systems (Prime Ecosystem advantage but not necessary)
- Excellent cost planning and knowledge of legal requirements and contract administration
- Have a Construction Blue Card or White Card
- Hold a Builders or Site Supervisors License and Queensland Driver’s License
- Access to an existing trade base will be advantageous
**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

- Brisbane, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
