Melbourne, Australia Australian Youth Commission Full time

The Australian Youth Commission is seeking a Youth Facilitator to engage, empower, and amplify the voices of young people across Australia. The Youth Facilitator will work closely with the Commission to design and deliver youth-led programs, events, and initiatives that support the development of young leaders, promote youth participation, and advance youth issues.

Responsibilities: - Work with the Commission to develop and deliver youth-led programs, events, and initiatives that promote youth participation, leadership, and advocacy. - Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and discussions with young people to understand their perspectives, experiences, and ideas. - Support young people to develop their leadership skills, build confidence, and engage with decision-makers and stakeholders. - Foster positive relationships with young people, community groups, and organizations to promote collaboration and partnerships. - Contribute to the development of policy recommendations and advocacy campaigns on youth issues. - Monitor and evaluate the impact of youth programs, events, and initiatives, and provide regular reports to the Commission.

Requirements: - Passion for youth issues and commitment to empowering young people. - Strong facilitation and communication skills, with experience working with diverse groups of young people. - Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver youth-led programs, events, and initiatives. - Knowledge of the Australian political system and experience in policy development and advocacy. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as youth work, community development, social sciences, or related disciplines.

**Salary**: $59,319.32 - $105,540.62 per year
