**About the role**:
As the Wellbeing Team Leader, you will be managing and leading a team of allied health professionals. By partnering our clients with subbranches, local agencies, health practitioners, Government departments, and other ex-service organisations, you will be empowering veterans to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. Our multi-disciplined Wellbeing team also plays an active role in supporting its local community by promoting our services and building important relationships with external stakeholders.

This is a full-time position based at our Brisbane office and reports to the Senior Manager, Wellbeing.

**About you**:
As a Wellbeing Team Leader with RSL Queensland, no one work day is ever the same. You will be a clinician with a background in social work or nursing and experience in transformational leadership and managing a team through change. You will be using your management experience and clinical skills to develop our Wellbeing services in line with quality and accreditation standards. As your team will be geographically dispersed, local and intra-State travel will be a necessary element of your role.

You will:

- Be a social worker or nurse with a degree in Human Services or Health Sciences or an equivalent (essential).
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience leading and managing teams. Clinical experience in Mental Health, Aged Care, Addiction Management or Community Health contexts will be highly regarded.
- Possess extensive knowledge of and experience in person-centred and strength-based case management.
- Manage a small but complex client caseload with empathy and confidence across highly sensitive environments and situations.
- Assess and approve case plans for financial assistance and homelessness support for veterans and their families.
- Lead and manage a team of allied health professionals within our homelessness, financial hardship and case management programs.
- Use your superior communication and interpersonal skills to rapidly build rapport and work collaboratively with external stakeholders and government agencies.
- Understand and implement quality improvement frameworks.
- Possess a Queensland “C” class driver’s license for work-related travel responsibilities across Queensland.
- Understand the Australian Defence Force and veteran communities and their unique characteristics and sensitivities (desirable).
