**About the opportunity**

As a Claims Officer for NSW Health Pathology, you will be working within a small dynamic team undertaking workers compensation payroll functions. You will provide a full range of administrative and clerical support services to support efficient and effective service delivery. You will be required on site from the Goulburn Office.

**What you'll be doing**

Coordinate and undertake workers compensation payroll functions and work within an administrative team to ensure the delivery of an effective, quality focused service to support the Recovery at Work unit.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, exercising independent judgement, discretion and initiative, prioritising work and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to determine priorities for others, coordinate allocation of tasks, coach and mentor work performance of staff to achieve service/unit objectives
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, conflict resolution and risk management
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

**Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
