**Suzuran is a very successful Japanese grocery store and Sushi take-away restaurant located in Camberwell VIC. We have undoubtedly the most extensive range of Japanese food products available in Victoria. We are hiring a part time sushi bar kitchen hand now**

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle customer orders in person and over the phone (English)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions from the sushi chef and work collaboratively with the team

**Working Hours**:

- Part-time position (3-4 days per week, including weekends and public holidays)
- Shift work from 9:0AM to 6:00PM on Tues-Sat / 9:00AM to 4:00pm on Sun
- During busy periods, the workload may require working 5 days a week
- Flexibility is required to accommodate changes in the schedule

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Fluent in Japanese (at least proficient in reading and speaking)
- Intermediate level of English or higher (capable of taking orders in person and over the phone)
- Punctual
- Prior experience in Sushi making
- Ability to commit to long-term employment (At least a year)
- Thorough understanding of Japanese working culture
- Comfortable providing polite and friendly customer service
- Capable of multitasking and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Confidence in handling physically demanding aspects of the role
- This position has the potential for promotion in the future
