About the Role
Reporting to the Chef Manager and working with a team of catering staff you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents. This role is essential in the preparation and overseeing the provision of the resident's daily meals in accordance with dietary requirements whilst working cooperatively with care staff in a fun and positive work environment.

Role Requirement

  • Commercial Cookery background or Hospitality Qualification
  • Food Safety Supervisor Health Competencies Qualifications
  • Demonstrated hands on kitchen management experience in Aged Care/External catering contractor setting
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Act 1997, Accreditation Standards, and relevant legislation
  • Sound financial/budget management experience
  • Previous experience in the management of Food Safety Plans specific to Aged Care
  • Previous experience in the design and implementation of nutritionally adequate and appropriate menus specific to Aged Care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated prioritization and organization skills
  • Proven ability and commitment to work autonomously
  • Consultative approach with residents, staff, colleagues, and other stakeholders
