**About the opportunity**

The Planogram & Space Planner role is a key support function and as a result, is a key member of the Visual Merchandising & Space Management Team. They are responsible for ensuring that all regular and scheduled space planning tasks for corporate retail outlets are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with promotional and ad hoc activity with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.

The role supports the Merchandise and Retail teams by maximizing the profitability mix of all Corporate Retail outlets by proactively managing the planogram process, providing merchandising support and recommendations to category, product, and merchandising management.

Using the latest advanced space planning software, the role is required to support the replenishment of corporate retail outlet inventories in accordance with the defined inventory policy objectives and performance metrics.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Creating visually appealing and eye-catching showcase displays for strategically important stores, including window displays, interior displays, and special promotions displays.
- Developing new concepts, displays, and options for visual merchandising that balance innovation and design with low-cost and pragmatic solutions.
- Contributing to the promotional guides in line with the objectives of Australia Post
- Proactively manage a comprehensive catalogue of planograms that facilitate the needs of a wide variety of store layouts, sizes, and customer demographics.
- Supporting the development of a flexible and scalable visual merchandising strategy aligned to catalogue promotions, seasonal ranges, and overall merchandise strategy.
- Developing the frontline capability and conditions for success in implementing the VM strategy
- Developing new concepts, displays, and options for visual merchandising that balance innovation and design with low-cost and pragmatic solutions that are simple and easy for retail outlet staff and licensees to setup.
- Management and maintenance of planogram files and product merchandising through the appropriate software tools available

You enjoy collaborating and have strong influencing skills and can build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. You’re eager to get stuff done, and approach your work with enthusiasm, diligence, and a can-do attitude.

**What are we looking for?**
- Possess a thorough understanding of computer skills - Windows, Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint
- Proficient using Adobe programs including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of Blue Yonder Space Planning Plus
- Proficient in using live images and maintaining a product library within the nominated software.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of typical retail industry supply chain functions, processes, and systems that support inventory management and fulfilment.
- Exposure to inventory forecasting and replenishment systems, tools, and methodologies
- Excellent planning, analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and initiate corrective actions in a prompt and timely manner.
- Some experience in delivering operational outcomes through exposure to other supply chains and organisations.
- Relevant Space Management experience in a retailing environment
