**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**ABOUT YOU**
To be considered for the position you will have:

- Degree in Civil Engineering **OR** Surveying **OR** Applied Mathematics **OR** Diploma in Civil Construction **OR** Structural Design/ Drafting or Surveying
- Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five (5) years previously
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education - scholarships available

Sound relevant and current Civil/Surveying experience in any of the following areas:

- Surveying - Cadastral, GNSS, GIS, or scanning or drone experience in the Surveying industry
- Road, Stormwater hydrology, Surface and Sub Surface drainage design
- Geotechnical - foundation design, environmental controls and/or geotechnical design
- Laboratory testing and analysis for construction materials and of engineering properties of materials
- Structural Design including flexible pavement design, concrete and/or steel structures
- Strong proficiency in relevant industry software would be desirable

**Note: All qualifications, certifications and experience need to be acquired locally and relate directly to the Civil Engineering Profession (foreign qualifications and certifications **will not be accepted**).**
