Peppermint Grove, Australia We Need a Nanny Full time

**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- A warm and friendly family of 4 looking for a reliable, gentle, caring nanny to help stay-at-home mum with the two little ones (primary care will be for our 10 month old baby).

**Your Duties**:

- Hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm at $35/hour, 3 x days per week. Mon/Tue/Fri or Mon/Thu/Fri (fixed days). Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children. Bathing and dressing children when required. Changing nappies and helping with potty-training when required. Unpacking/packing dishwasher, cleaning up after meals, washing and steralising bottles, preparing bottles etc Family laundry, washing, hanging and folding, when time permits. Planning children’s meals, preparing food, and/or feeding the children. Arranging outings with children.
- Indoor and outdoor play including cleaning and tidying up afterwards. Educational activities and crafts. Driving the children activities* Reading to the children. Organising bedrooms/toys. Administering medicine with parents’ consent, if necessary. Taking children to doctor appointments. Taking children to any appointment as discussed with parent. Maintaining diary for the parents. Helping with maintaining nappy/wipes/formula supply, nappy bags, pram bags etc after each outing Adhering to scheduled nap times. Reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children, following parents lead. Implementing and following parents desired daily routines for children.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- A reliable and trustworthy caregiver with a gentle and caring nature who loves children. Our ideal caregiver understands the role is to help mum with all aspects relating to the children's care and genuinely wants to help. Caregiver must show initiative and be conscious of being neat and tidy. Current and extensive baby experience is a pre-requisite of the role as primary care will be for our baby.
