**Role Purpose**

The National Sales Manager, Education and Migration Agents reports to the General Manger, International Health and plays a key role in leading and managing the sales outcomes for OSHC and OVHC via our Agent Partner Channel to ensure International Health meets its revenue and profit targets.

This is a senior sales leadership role leading a team of Key Account Managers and Account Managers to (but not limited to):

- Providing leadership to the Agent sales team ensuring growth and retention of both new and existing clients.
- Developing and implementing a sales and distribution strategy for the Health Insurance business in line with the overall company direction.
- Leading tactical activities to ensure the business achieves strategic goals and objectives.
- Building and maintaining productive and profitable relationships, distribution of related products across the client base and seeking to expand other business opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
**Sales/SGW Growth**
- Achieving sales targets of OSHC and OVHC.
- Minimising sales leakage to competitors.
- Retention of clients - 90% plus.
- Leading tender processes for major client tender where needed.

**Elevating the Allianz Partners Brand and Professionalism**
- Identifying and developing key partnerships to raise brand and product awareness.
- Target key market and industry events and associations.
- Participation and engaging in internal projects and committees.
- Developing and maintaining key internal relationships/stakeholders (ie technical, pricing, market management etc).

**Sales and client management**
- Develop a sustainable sales and growth strategy for the Institution Channel to meet revenue, profit and strategic business requirements.
- Engage in leading edge partnerships to grow APA’s profitable market share through the strategic development of the International Health product and service offering
- Maximize revenue and operating profit for each client.
- Develop and implement detailed client planning processes.
- Enable effective cross sell opportunities.

**Reporting**
- Ensure agreed deadlines are adhered to at all times for reporting and implementations
- Assist in the preparation of product presentations, proposals and reports
- Timely delivery of required reports to Clients

**Entrepreneurial Orientation**
- Knows market fundamentals and integrates into regular work activity.
- Has a well-developed understanding of how the business makes money and used this knowledge in decision making.
- Aware of key profit and cost drivers for own area and how they contribute to profitable growth. Provide administrative support in the implementation of strategies and campaigns and assist with the co-ordination of any associated procedures in relation to new products, services or campaigns.

**Risk & Compliance**
- Adhere to the risk management and compliance obligations relevant to each position and comply with policies, processes and training requirements.
- Report and escalate risk and compliance related concerns, issues and failures to management.
- Complete required risk management reviews and questionnaires within approved timeframes.
- Identify, document and communicate risk and compliance exposures including fraud and corruption in operational areas or departments.

- A strong strategic account management/organic growth track record.
- Previous experience leading successful Account Management teams.
- Diligent and accountable self-starter who can take ownership from the outset.
- Commercially minded with a strategic, solutions-based approach to your work.
- Proven high level of professionalism, maturity and candor in daily work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure including achieving outcomes, prioritising work, meeting
deadlines, motivating staff and retaining personal motivation and perseverance.
- Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the
business.
