**The Role**

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Security Advisor to provide advice on security architecture, strategies, settings and technology in support of the delivery of a key ICT solution.

Duties will include:

- Deliver and maintain ICT security policies, plans and procedures
- Deliver, maintain and present ICT security training for staff
- Provide technical security advice in the planning and implementation of solutions
- Develop system authorisation documentation
- Maintain currency and expertise in security related technologies
- Assist in security investigations and review system audit trails and logs
- Assist in developing and improving disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Develop security risk assessments and system security plans
- Maintain and monitor network security systems

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience configuring and deploying technology solutions
- Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory
- Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards
- Experience working with Azure/AWS cloud, particularly from a security perspective
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
