Unique exciting opportunity for an ICT Security Advisor to join a government department. If you’re a dedicated professional with a proven track record in IT security, then look no further.**Position Overview**:
As the IT Security Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance on security architecture, Essential Eight strategies, cloud security settings, and adherence to the Information Security Manual (ISM) controls.**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain ICT security policies, plans, and training.
- Provide expert security advice for new tech solutions.
- Create system authorization docs and security risk assessments.
- Assist in investigations, audits, and innovative solutions.
- Enhance disaster recovery and continuity plans.
- Monitor and bolster network security.

**Demonstrated requirements**:

- Configuring and deploying technology solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISM, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Working with Azure/AWS cloud, particularly from a security perspective.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
