**About Us**
We are a direct importer and distributor of tools and garden products. Our business has grown fast over the last few years, and to keep the pace, we are adding this new postion to support our team.
**About the Role**
Responsible for the efficient and effective management of all warehouse activities whilst ensuring that all safety aspects are adhered to.
This hands-on and labour-intensive role will be directly responsible for the entire supervision and management of the warehouse and all the necessary procedures and processes. Strong focus must be placed on stock management, meeting delivery deadlines and the ability to multi-task.
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to warehousing, including safety, security, and quality control measures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked warehouse environment at all times.
- Manage and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping/receiving.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and logistics, to ensure efficient coordination and fulfillment of orders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and adjust inventory and pricing strategies accordingly.
**The Successful Applicant**
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for contributing within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and experience in prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Experience within ecommerce 3pl would be an advantage.
- Proven success in managing warehouse/3pl sites
- Experience in training and developing staff
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physically fit for heavy lifting (up to 15kg)
- 5 Years min. work experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Mandarin speaking
- Forklift certification.
**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
