**Responsibilities**:

- Provide compassionate and person-centered care to residents in accordance with their care plans and individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes or concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and maintain accurate medication records.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and serving, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.
- Coordinate and participate in recreational activities, social programs, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including assisting with housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Collaborate with other members of the care team, including nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for residents.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and standards of practice.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services.
- Previous experience working in a residential care setting, preferably with elderly or vulnerable populations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of person-centered care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and infection control measures.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor towards residents and their families.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).
