Additional information:

- These roles are Permanent, Part-time 30hrs/fortnight
- The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day from 8am (AM shift) and evenings (up to 9:30pm PM shift). You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-full day Welcome induction from Monday 18 March 2024.
- If successful, your shifts will commence from Monday 18 March 2024.

**About this work area**

As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
- Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
- Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.

As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are:

- Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
- Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
- Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
- Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
