We currently have an opportunity for a **Head of Accounting Services** to join our team. The Head of Accounting Services will ensure the team has skilled and service-oriented members, while supporting business lines in aligning service levels with demand. They will collaborate with other areas to drive process excellence and efficiency improvements within the Accounting Services function.

Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you can also expect to be involved in the advancement of our Finance and Performance function; from innovating processes, to assisting on a variety of internal projects.

**What you’ll do**

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

- Provide people management and thought leadership to the managers of the Accounting Services team
- Focus on engagement of our people and support a culture of customer service, as well as efficiency and accuracy
- Optimise and realise the synergies available by integrating the Accounting Services
- Embark on a program of continuous improvement including process standardisation to ensure that processes are measured, known to be in control, with trends understood and communicated
- Clarify service levels required and to ensure performance against those standards is measured and communicated
- Manage procedural and domain knowledge systematically to assure service continuity and avoid dependency on individual’s vs the overall Accounting Services team

**What you’ll bring**
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting/Business/Commerce
- CPA/CA with post graduate studies will be highly regarded.
- Significant experience in a similar role with exposure in Finance / Shared Services environment in a senior position.
- Extensive finance experience in complex environments.
- Proficient in managing teams, driving cultural change, and resolving performance issues.
- Strong customer orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Proven professional leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Skilled in proactive stakeholder and peer relationship-building.
- Effective communication, influencing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable in service management frameworks, operational change, and continuous improvement.
- Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with various systems, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
