About the Role
Emerging leaders in dictation software, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service levels to our medical clients. Our Transcription Platform is enhanced with Microsoft Voice to Text technology to aid our Proof Reading team. We cater for all specialities and highly value Medical Typists with broad experience.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for home based medical typists to join our growing team. You will be responsible for providing correspondence in an accurate and professional manner.
**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Efficiently and accurately process dictations from a range of doctors and specialities
- Ensure on time delivery of processed records
- Ensure 98% accuracy of processing, following VBIT transcription rules and guidelines
- Help the VBIT editor to manage workloads and ensure delivery of agreed service standards
- Keep up to date with Medical terminology
- Cover periods of leave for Editors as required.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Typing certification (desired)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work Autonomously
- Team player
- Previous experience in medical transcription
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
- Computer literacy
