**54 reasons** is Australia’s leading child rights organisation - no ordinary not-for-profit.***

Proudly part of the Save the Children Australia Group and global movement, we’re here to make sure that everyone understands their rights. So that children and young people have their rights met and thrive, in all their diversity.

We champion the children, young people and families we work with. We are inspired by the curiosity and creativity of children and motivated by the love of those who care for them.

With the child’s voice at the centre, we provide quality services to children and their caregivers, advocating with them so that children develop, learn, and are connected, safe and confident. Our people are proudly local, reflective of the communities we serve - in every state and territory, and across regions, remote areas and capital cities.

**Where you come in**:

In week 1, you’ll work 7.6 hours per day from Monday to Friday and in week 2, you’ll work 7.6 hours per day from Monday to Thursday. These hours will be operated from the refuge and in community settings, all located within the Moreton Bay region. This role is to cover maternity leave until **31 March 2025.**

- Enhance stakeholder relationships and partnerships with the view of providing clients with support that will help them to address their needs.
- Work collaboratively within a small team to deliver best practice to women and children who are experiencing DFV.

**Does this sound like you?**

You’re an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting families within a child centred, strengths-based framework. Importantly, you have a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and their families and you’re keenly aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
