The Advisor - Business Performance is responsible for the design and maintenance of all Line and Intermediate Maintenance Resource models across the Qantas Engineering footprint. The role will require having the responsibility for working seamlessly across Line and Intermediate operations, Production Control, Business Planning and Strategy teams to analyse the impacts of schedule, fleet and maintenance activity changes to the business.

A key aspect to the role will be aiding and the delivery of crucial information relating to the efficiency and effectiveness of labour resource allocation across the Qantas Engineering footprint. Balancing this will be the precise and timely compilation and representation of complex maintenance requirements and forecast planning activities

You’ll have:

- Qualification in Business, Computing, Data Science or relevant field
- Engineering qualification would be desirable but not necessary
- Experience in comprehending and communicating complex technical information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Ability to utilise IT tools to analyse and process large amounts of information into clear and actionable insights
- Experience in Excel, SQL and developing business performance reports using Business Intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer focus with the ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions, even when presented with incomplete or uncertain data
- Strong demonstrated skills in problem solving and analytical thinking, both individually and as part of a team
- Continuous improvement focus
