**About the Project and the Role**

The Centre’s Sustainable Industry Manufacturing for Long Term Ecosystems (SIMPLE) Hub has received $7 million of government and partner funding to ensure the delivery of circular economies in manufacturing, resource, civil infrastructure, heath and agrifood industries.

As a Research Fellow, you will:

- Be provided opportunities to collaborate with over 15 multi-sector industries in addition to local government and education partners, national and international university partners
- Carry out prototyping of products and analysis with project partner, Darling Downs Health Services
- Join a multidisciplinary team, collaborate and develop sustainable processes which contribute to cross-sector ‘ecosystems’ and support circular economies

**About You**

Understand the importance of collaboration and how that translates to valuable relationships relating to desired outcomes. Additionally, you will have:

- Completion of a medical degree (MD or MBBS) from an Australian Medical Council-accredited medical school
- Demonstrated professional experience and/or research expertise in Biomedical sciences, clinical skills, biomedical engineering and/or materials science
- Existing relationships with hospitals and other health settings

**Salary**:Total remuneration range $119,401 to $141,128 pa (includes salary range of $100,888 to $119,246 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
