An opportunity exists for a highly motivated person to join our Randwick-based Planning

Consultancy as a Personal Assistant. The key focus of this position will be to support the

Principal and to assist with a range of administrative tasks and other tasks.

This role will be both challenging and rewarding and present an excellent opportunity for

ongoing professional development under the guidance of a highly experienced Principal.

We are looking for a young professional, to nurture their critical thinking and problem-solving

skills and become a highly competent professional.

attention to detail and provide a professional and courteous attitude when liaising with

clients, consultants and Local Government officials. An ability to prioritise, implement

instructions and complete tasks unsupervised in a timely manner, is essential. Amongst

other things, the responsibilities include:
**Resposibilites**

Planning Portal, including:
oDevelopment Applications

oSection 4.55 Modifications

oSection 8.3 Reviews of Determinations

oConstruction Certificates

oAccess to Information Requests

∙Carry out Administrative Tasks, including:
oPrepare Fee Proposals

oPrepare Invoices

oMaintain Consecutive Invoice Register

oLiaise with clients, consultants and Local Government officials

oReferral and following up on potential leads/existing clients

oMaintaining consultant inventory/task tracking in Outlook/CRM

oTranscribing of dictated reports with a high degree of accuracy

oPrepare and format Cover Letters and other formal written material

oAssist with preparation of marketing materials and presentations, including

newsletters, website and social media

oAttend to weekly backup to external hard drive

∙Assist in the preparation of various Planning Documents, including:
oStatement of Environmental Effects

oClause 4.6 Requests

oComplying Development Checks

oHighest and Best Use Reports

oLetters of Objection

oPreliminary Planning Reports

**Our Selection criteria**:
∙Minimum 12 months experience in an administrative or similar role.

∙Advanced MS Office skills

∙Demonstrated time management & organizational skills

∙Previous experience using Sketchup preferable although not essential

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Apprenticeship, Internship
Contract length: 12 months
