**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will see you responsible for, but not limited to:

- Undertaking the administrative duties within the WHS program
- Conducting regular SWMS and Risk Assessments and recommend specific accident prevention control measures for eliminating and reducing risk
- Managing and undertaking the investigation of Health and Safety related incidents
- Developing, driving and coordinating the WHS Committee
- Building on current safety systems and KPI's
- Conducting safety training and refreshers.
- Development of WHS Metrices and reporting - LTIFR, incident rates, Severity rates
- Utilising a hands-on approach to develop and drive Safety standards and compliance
- Building and developing relationships across the sites, and leading a strong safety culture
- Maintaining Safety Systems
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a hands-on, safety and RTW role preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Tertiary Qualifications within WHS (minimum Cert IV)
- Experience in the development of safety policies, incident investigations, conducting training & inductions, reporting of injuries & incidents will be highly regarded
- Understanding of work health and safety Legislation, Standards and Regulations
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Strong reporting and systems skills
- Ability to promote and operate in a collaborative work environment
