We are currently looking for a full-time Payroll and Finance Officer to contribute to our growing team in our Cranbourne based National Office.

**About You**:
You will be responsible of processing fortnightly payroll and all payroll related matters. You will maintain the organisation's payroll system data as well as assisting staff and management with all payroll related queries. You will also have a proven ability to communicate and build professional relationships with Managers & internal stakeholders.

**Your key responsibilities while undertaking this role will include**:

- Ensuring the accuracy of payroll transactions and payments.
- Answering general payroll enquiries including advice on awards, policies and issues.
- Preparation and payment of all State and Federal tax obligations including PAYG tax, payroll tax, superannuation contributions and leave entitlements.
- Importing timesheets into KeyPay.
- Employee records maintenance including onboarding and offboarding.
- Processing invoices due for payment.
- Assisting with month-end reporting.
- Providing support to Accounts Payable.
- Ad hoc projects as required by the Management Team.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- At least 2 years’ experience as a Payroll Officer in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation.
- Strong knowledge of Awards and award interpretation.
- The ability to work independently and cohesively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to be organised, prioritise work and manage time effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to investigate and resolve payroll issues.
- Advanced computer software skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and other financial accounting packages.
- Experience with payroll systems such as Employment Hero and accounting package/s (MYOB and XERO) will be highly regarded.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 2 years (preferred)
- MYOB: 1 year (preferred)

- Australia (required)
