**ABOUT THE ROLE**

In this brand new career changing role, you’ll be the leading advisor conducting strategic fish performance analysis and feed project management across production at Huon. Your responsibilities include identifying priorities and driving efficiencies across the organisation, and:

- Conducting biological fish performance analysis and providing sound recommendations that are critical to stakeholders for informed decision making.
- Engaging key internal and external stakeholders on areas including but not limited to feed projects and fish performance.
- Collaborating with critical stakeholders on strategies that ensure the achievement of biological performance targets.
- Providing strong leadership and specialist advice on the feed strategy used to determine monthly marine feed requirements and orders from suppliers and monitor feed logistics.
- Maintaining awareness of emerging risks, strategies, and opportunities for Huon relevant to fish performance and feed.
- Identifying and implementing quality assurance and strategies for the monitoring programs of pigment and fresh quality in partnership with relevant stakeholders.

Operating on a full-time basis Monday to Friday, this role is primarily based at our Hobart office, and will regularly hit the road visiting Huon’s sites around our beautiful island state.

**ABOUT YOU**
- You have demonstrated knowledge and experience in analytics and project management within an Aquaculture or Agriculture business, ideally holding a bachelor in a relevant field.
- You are a strong communicator, confident in managing a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and build meaningful relationships.
- You utilise your experience, data and statistics, and informed stakeholder input to make sound decisions.
- You embrace coaching others and leverage your well-honed interpersonal skills to motivate teams, delegate responsibility as required, and to influence positive outcomes.
- You have demonstrated the ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty and remain calm in a changing environment.
- You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.
