Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria.

We address the needs of people experiencing mental health issues, the mental health sector, the justice sector and the general community. These services are delivered through inpatient services at Thomas Embling Hospital, community services through the Community Forensic Mental Health Service and prison-based services at several locations. This position will be based at Prison Directorate Executives Office and will be required to work across all Forensicare sites.

**About the Role**:
The Mental Health Transition Support Service Administrative Officer will provide healthcare administrative support to the MHTSS. The Administrative Officer will work under broad direction and collaborate with the MHTSS Multi-Disciplinary Team to support delivery of best service outcomes

**Duties**:

- Will support the MHTSS to maintain a system that identifies, tracks, and monitors people in prison who are eligible and engaged in the service.
- Support collation of data for service evaluation and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting.
- Undertake administrative activities as requested by the MHTSS Program Lead.
- Meeting preparation including the recording and distribution of agendas and minutes (after approval)
- Coordinate meeting dates as needed.
- Organise photocopying, faxing, and scanning as requested.
- Coordinate diary appointments and arrange meetings and room bookings for the senior management team as requested.
- Maintain an efficient office information filing system.
- Assist with updating procedures in the Administration Procedure Manual.

**About You**:

- Previous office administration experience is essential, with experience in a mental health setting highly desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint) with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.
- Ability to undertake several different tasks simultaneously, ensuring the most important tasks are completed in line with agreed timelines and deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and act with discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
- Experience in managing own workload with limited supervision.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.

**COVID19 & Influenza Vaccination Evidence**

Under the Victorian Public Health orders, all employees working within the Public Health system must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza and are required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status. The current orders require evidence of three doses for COVID-19.
