**The Role**

We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated Grants, Tenders and Submissions Coordinator to manage and lead Coast Shelters funding submissions to philanthropic trusts, foundations, the private sector as well as government funding submissions and tenders. The position is responsible for researching and sourcing funding opportunities that are directly aligned to our organisations mission, values and strategic objectives.

This newly created standalone position reports directly to the Service Evolution Manager.

**All about You**

If you are confident with all aspects of grants, tenders and submissions within a community sector setting, writing for a range of media and happy to have a hands-on role as a key part of a community focused team, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone with:

- At least 5 years’ experience in funding submission development and a proven track record in successfully generating funding.
- Previous experience in the research and preparation of successful submissions within a not-for-profit, social sector context or equivalent
- Well-developed understanding of funder motivation and behaviour.
- Excellent verbal and written communication along with sound interpersonal skills; with an ability to communicate sensitively and respectfully with all relevant stakeholders.
- Self-directed ability to work with mínimal supervision and as part of a broader team of staff and volunteers
