War Memorial Hospital (WMH) is a 3rd Schedule Aged Rehabilitation hospital, situated in Waverley, owned and operated by Uniting and part of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). Services are comprised of 24 hour inpatient care, Monday to Friday outpatient departments, several specialist community teams inclusive of Transitional Aged Care, Aged Care Assessment Team, Geriatric Flying Squad, Young Onset Dementia, 7 day a week day centre, 24 hour accommodation service for regional guests and the full range of hospital support services. The WMH Executive Administration Manager (EAM) works as part of the central hub of WMH governance including corporate systems, executive clinical services management and the business and performance functions. The EAM directly supports and interfaces with all members of the WMH Executive Unit on a day to day operational basis and at a strategic level. There is direct facilitation of efficient calendar and executive resource management, along with senior secretarial support of relevant meetings. Highly developed communication and information processing skills are required for both internal and external stakeholder reception and engagement. The EAM is the frontline administration contact for the Executive Unit and acts as a conduit of information for internal WMH staff and key external stakeholders such as Uniting, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and NSW Health Ministry of Health. This position plays an important support role in the local implementation of relevant systems and streamlined administrative practices across the site. The EAM represents as the lead administration role at WMH. It also oversees recruitment to the WMH casual administration pool, ensuring resources who relieve in roles across the campus, under local operational direction. The role also supports and relieves the Billing and Finance Administration Officer (BFAO) within the Executive Unit. There is limited interaction with patients or carers as required.

The role is well supported by direct line management, relevant hospital committees and infrastructure. Professional development is supported and encouraged.

This position is part time permanent role, working days negotiable with other position holder whilst ensuring Monday to Friday coverage.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience in the provision and management of high quality executive administration services with a sound attention to detail
- Proven high level oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with a consistent, confidential and professional customer focus
- Capacity to work under direct supervision and also autonomously, in meeting administrative duties ensuring sound organisational skills, appropriate prioritisation and timely completion of tasks
- Facilitates and oversees effective diary management, meeting administration, event logistics and corporate communication for members of the Executive Unit
- Demonstrated experience and capacity for first hand problem-solving skills alongside effective and appropriate escalation or delegation
- Demonstrated systems thinking with capacity to understand, review and implement new processes ranging in complexity, providing clear direction for end users
- Demonstrated experience or willing to learn human resource management principles and systems to support workforce capacity and capability
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy including the Microsoft Office Suite and experience/willingness to learn relevant electronic systems e.g. procurement, recruitment etc.

**All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine AND an Influenza vaccine by 1st June 2023 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate.
