An exciting opportunity has become available for an **Assistant Centre Manager **to join the team and encourage our little one’s true potential in a nurturing environment at our **Symonston **childcare centre.

**Your new centre**:
We're ideally situated for families in Symonston, Crestwood, Narrabundah, Fyshwick and Harman area. Your new centre has an engaging large outdoor playground and natural play space, each of our environments and brand-new resources is well designed to foster and enhance children’s learning and development.

**Your new role**:

- You will be passionate about promoting children's development and their learning at our centres
- Genius is a diverse and inclusive environment, as Educational Leader you will promote Genius brand values within the community
- Collaborate with Leadership to support the centre to meet and exceed the NQS and constantly improve our programs.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the centre, helping to forge great relationships with families and the community

**What YOU need**:

- Diploma-level early childhood qualification, Bachelors degree would be advantageous but not required (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Relevant working with children checks, police checks, child protection course, First Aid and CPR including anaphylaxis and asthma
- Strong leadership skills and knowledge within the Childcare Industry
- Experience with administrative procedure, curriculum development, and staff professional development and training.
- You will have sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
