Ambulance Victoria's (AV) mission is to improve the health of our community by delivering innovative, high quality ambulance services.

AV are seeking an experienced Workforce Planner to provide specialist advice and guidance to AV Managers and staff on a range of issues including remuneration and conditions of employment within AV policy, legislation, and best practice.

This is a full time, permanent position currently based in Doncaster.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Lead Workforce Planning, the responsibilities of the Workforce Planner include, but are not limited to:

- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in workforce demographic and establishment data using statistical techniques to identify gaps and opportunities and support the development of workforce improvement projects
- Monitor the performance of workforce models and develop improved techniques for modelling and forecast of workforce resource requirements
- Liaise with stakeholders across Ambulance Victoria to understand key drivers of workforce trends
- Develop and maintain workforce models that forecast attrition, leave usage, casual utilisation, and Flexible
- Work Arrangement uptake to inform annual budget development

**ABOUT YOU**

To be considered for this position you will possess:

- A degree (preferably Economics or Mathematics) or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
- Demonstrated analytical ability, including experience in the use of research techniques and statistical methods
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and research skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems
- Well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise, consult, and present information to a diverse range of stakeholders in a variety of contexts

This position is graded an **AV4** for which the salary range is **$97,609 - $122,156 **pa plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade.
