**The Role** As a vital member of the broader HR team, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring workplace health and safety (WHS) standards are top-notch. Responsibilities include:

- Developing, monitoring, and refining health & safety and return-to-work procedures for compliance and continuous improvement.
- Leading a WHS awareness campaign.
- Handling incident reporting and recording, ensuring hazards and accidents are documented.
- Designing and executing a comprehensive training plan aligned with learning and development goals.
- Collaborating with SafeWork NSW as needed.
- Providing guidance and assistance to employees returning to work after illness, injury, or disability.
- Coordinating with HR, management, insurers, and healthcare professionals for effective employee reintegration.
- Managing return-to-work cases and offering personalized support.
- Implementing strategies to reduce Workers Compensation premiums.
- Maintaining accurate data in our injury management system.
- Previous WH&S experience in a dynamic environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field.
- SIRA accredited RTW qualification with a proven track record in managing workers' compensation claims.
- A current driver's license, Working with Children's Check, and National and/or International Police Check.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Initiative and sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent time management abilities.
