**Your new role**

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our team, that will closely with the Team Leaders, Quality, Service, Store, Management and Operators with a key to providing operational effectiveness of the production site. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is ready to join a fast paces and growing company.

You will build a performance culture with service excellence and ensure a committed approach to Health and Safety and Quality. To be successful in this role you will have the ability to influence, communicate and drive operational excellence. You should utilise your experience to implement new and beneficial production improvements and strategies into the business.

**Duties & Skills will include but not limited to..**
- Managing the operational effectiveness of the Production Lines, Stores & Service through systems and procedures
- Drive Operator training and development through Supervisors
- Partnering with other areas of the business to ensure the production line delivers on its business plan and targets
- Fostering longer term initiatives to continuously improve production, safety, quality, resource and materials utilisation, staff skills and competencies
- This position will require the selected person to act as a coach and mentor for Shift Supervisors, and production staff
- Promote and adhere to Lean Manufacturing Standards

**The successful applicant will possess**
- Experience in a leadership and management role in a manufacturing environment
- High literacy & communication skills. Computer proficiency.
- Strong knowledge/experience in Manufacturing including Safety and Quality standards is essential
- Be a driven and strong leader but also work well within a team
- Ability to work with everyone from factory staff up to the Senior Management.
- Previous experience in running production lines would be of an advantage
