**Huon Aquaculture Group Ltd. produces around 36,000 tonnes of fresh Atlantic salmon and ocean trout annually and is recognised globally as being a premium producer of fresh and smoked salmon products.**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Our Parramatta Creek Processing and Smokehouse facility is located 15 minutes from Devonport and processes all of the Salmon and Ocean Trout that we farm in Tasmania. From here, product is distributed across Tasmania, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

As an Electrician at Huon Aquaculture, you will assist in supporting our extensive repairs and maintenance program for our site plant and equipment. Based at our Processing facility at Parramatta Creek, you will be responsible for ensuring that preventative maintenance schedules are completed to the highest possible standard. In this key role, you will coordinate with contractors and our engineering team to ensure safe and efficient processing outcomes.
This position works a 7/7 day shift roster.

**ABOUT YOU**
You will be adaptable to changing demands and situations, keen and self-motivated with a positive and cooperative approach. You will be required to work in a fast paced environment, with good organisational and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively and cooperatively with all production teams onsite.

Experience working with small to medium sized teams in a processing environment will be highly regarded as will a thorough understanding and awareness of WH&S, Quality Assurance and Food Safety requirements and practices.

It is an inherent requirement of this position that work be performed safely whilst upholding Huon’s Values. The appointed person must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
