**About the team**:
Commercial is a large but close-knit group. We bring diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience to every Business Unit at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Express. **About the role**:
The Coles Grocery Business Unit provides an engaging, dynamic, and fast paced environment. The Demand Planners within the high performing Supply Chain Team are critical thinkers that are customer obsessed.

As an influential business partner, you will work with internal teams such as Category Managers, Finance and Central System (among others) as well as proactively collaborating with Suppliers.

You'll also:

- Optimise the demand signal to ensure excellence in on-shelf availability
- Be an active member of the team executing range reviews and events
- Determine assumptions and accurately project category trends to maximise market share growth.
- This demand signal will be relied upon by internal teams, including Business Category Managers, Supply Planners, and our Suppliers to land the customer offer with excellent execution.
- Forecast promotions that enables the supply chain to deliver as promised

**About you and your skills**:
In this exciting and varied role there is an opportunity to leverage your current skills as well as provide the ability for genuine impact with individualised development opportunities available
- Excellent fundamentals un supply chain with the ability to link to customer impact
- Proven experience in FMCG planning and/or statistical analysis via standardised systems
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels using trends and facts
- Capability to enhance and continually improve processes, systems, and business metrics
- Past exposure and understanding of S&OP/IBP process
- A team player approach with well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills allowing you to build effective relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and deliver consistent results, while working in a broad planning horizon of 4 to 52 weeks and positively impact seasonal and annual events
