MAP Co is seeking an ICT Support Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems. You will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and conducting routine maintenance tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, such as system upgrades and network infrastructure enhancements, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our technology systems. **Organisation Overview**

A new state government entity, MAP Co is responsible for the delivery of the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation project as well as the operations, programming, promotion and maintenance of Federation Square and the new Melbourne Arts Precinct public spaces. Set to boost Melbourne's standing as a creative and cultural capital and to harness the immense potential of one of the most vibrant arts corridors in the world, MAP Co is delivering capital projects including the $1.7billion Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation project that includes, The Fox: NGV Contemporary, a new gallery dedicated to contemporary art and design; an 18,000 square metre public open space in the heart of the precinct; significant upgrades to the State Theatre; and new restaurants and bars throughout the space. Federation Square supports a diverse mix of businesses that service residents, CBD workers and local and international visitors alike. It is proudly home to nationally significant resident cultural institutions the Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT), the Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia (NGVA) and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI). MAP Co works collaboratively with these organisations to support and leverage a wholistic approach to precinct programming.

**About the Role**

MAP Co is seeking an ICT Support Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems. You will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and conducting routine maintenance tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, such as system upgrades and network infrastructure enhancements, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our technology systems. In this role, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise and stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Providing technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Conducting system upgrades and performing routine maintenance tasks such as updating software, patching operating systems, and ensuring security systems are up-to-date.
- Maintaining an inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software, and tracking asset allocation and lifecycle.
- Create and maintain documentation of the IT infrastructure, including configuration details, operating procedures, and system diagrams.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions, ensuring that only authorized users have access to the appropriate systems and data.
- Assist in the design and delivery of ICT projects.

**Your Experience**
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing technical support and advice and possesses an advanced level of IT proficiency, applied in a customer facing environment
- Demonstrated experience in consistently adopting a security-focused approach to all aspects of work and staying up to date with the latest threats and solutions to protect against them.
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgement within clearly established procedures and/or guidelines to find positive solutions in response to identified needs.
- Strong customer service focus and be able to provide support in a professional and efficient manner.
- Demonstrated ability to produce understandable end-user facing documentation.
- Awareness of emerging technologies, driven by a curious and proactive nature that keeps them up-to-date and able to leverage new advancement.
