**PRIMARY FUNCTION/OBJECTIVE**:
The ANZ Customer Excellence team’s purpose is to transform AbbVie ANZ, through empathy, agility and partnership with our internal stakeholders. Our Head of Learning & Capability Development plays a key role in leading our people through this continuous transformation.

To strategically lead the implementation of ANZ Affiliate’s capability evolution across multiple customer-facing functions. Including, building a culture of improving customer experience, behaviour change and skill development in our cross-functional teams. Reporting to Director of Customer Excellence, this role will lead an experienced team to develop and drive the implementation of the capability development & learning strategy within the affiliate.

With a focus on change management, this role is to orchestrate and mobilise a team to accelerate the delivery of business impact by evolving the capabilities within customer-centric functions.

**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop the strategic and implementation plan for delivery of organisational change via a robust Capability & Learning program. Including ensuring high quality senior stakeholder engagement, consultation and delivery in both the gap assessment and implementation plan.
- Lead the continuous evolution of the Learning Team to ensure capability plan and learning programs are achieved through effective teamwork and innovative delivery solutions using industry leading adult learning expertise and tools.
- Develop and implement the digital framework which will support the organizational Learning program including the e-learning system and module development to leverage universal material and ensure engaging learner journeys.
- Develop strong relationships and partnerships with key external and internal stakeholders within the affiliate and global teams to build and share Best Practice in the ANZ affiliate.
- Align affiliate requirements with global expectations, programs and opportunities.
- Ensure the performance and commitment of the Learning Team via appropriate organization a championing the development of individuals.
- Budget support, including supporting resourcing decisions within the CEX Leadership team.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Senior leader with excellent change management, communication, and inspiration skills with proven results in a senior level role.
- Experience and proven success in leading change in broad cross-functional teams at a senior level.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Preferred understanding of AbbVie Future Fit journey, ADKAR Change Models and AbbVie innovation processes.

**SKILLS**
- Strong leadership with excellent communication skills is an absolute requirement.
- Sound commercial understanding of key business issues/challenges, particularly obstacles for customer-facing functions to adopt change.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills - able to motivate and lead people through change.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Customer focused with a consultative and collaborative management approach.
