Centurion Transport in Perth is currently seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our Yard operations department full-time as a Freight Officer. **Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Operating various sized forklifts_ (2.5T, 7T and 16T)_
- Processing various types of general freight from beginning to end _(palletised, ugly and oversize)_
- Secure and restrain all loads as per the load restraint guide with straps and/or chains
- Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
- Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch
- Guaranteeing freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times

**Requirements of the role**
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Preferred experience with general freight and restraining loads
- Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
- Preferred scanning experience
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values
